Stephen Tsang’s Artworks

Stephen Tsang has called Edmonton home since 1979 and works as a Compliance Officer with the Government of Alberta while practicing acupuncture for 40 years. A dedicated community member, he has contributed to various organizations and events. His passion for Chinese calligraphy began in his teenage years under Mr. Shui-hin Wong and later Mr. Tat-Ming Yee. Founder of the From the Heart Studio, he occasionally teaches calligraphy at Edmonton Chinese bilingual public schools, the University of Alberta, and the Confucius Institute. His works have been showcased at the Stanley Milner Public Library and Grant MacEwan University. His calligraphy for Chinatown is displayed on light post banners, and the 3D sculpture atop Edmonton’s “Quarters” LRT station features his design of Descendants of the Dragon. Stephen’s calligraphy also appears in charity auctions, websites, logos, and community events, reflecting his deep cultural contributions and artistic legacy.
